It is a paramilitary force that is India’s largest Central Armed Police Force. The Ministry of Home Affairs of India oversees the operation of the CRPF. Its primary objective is to assist the state and associations domain governments in maintaining rule of law and peace in their respective regions. It is based in New Delhi, India. India’s public authority has established the CRPR Foundation to help young people join the CRPF. Sh Rajeevrai Bhatnagar, Director General of CRPF, has been in office since July 2017.

The largest of India’s Central Armed Police Forces is the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). It is under the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), Government of India. The CRPF is primarily responsible for supporting the State/Union Territories with police operations to maintain law, order, and counter insurgency. CRPF Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for UPSC CAPF Assistant Commander must meet the eligibility criteria as stated in the official notification. Only candidates who meet the eligibility criteria are eligible to apply for the exam.
To apply for the CRPF Assistant Commander exam, you must meet these criteria:
Except with the consent by the Central Government, the candidate must be an Indian citizen. The exam is open to candidates who are from Nepal or Bhutan.
The candidate must hold a Bachelor's Degree from any University recognized under the Act of State, or Central Government. Candidats from Deemed Universities can also apply.
Candidate must be at least 20 years old. It should not exceed 25 years old. Age relaxation for SC/ST candidates of up to 5 years and OBC candidates of up to 3 years
Female and male aspirants are eligible to apply
The applicant must also meet the Physical and Clinical Standard Qualifications. This is an essential part of the qualification rules. Any competitor who does not coordinate the below principles will likely be denied the CAPF test.

A candidate can become a CRPF officer by passing intermediate, 10+2, or an equivalent exam. A candidate must also be able type between 35-40 words per hour in English and 25-30 words per hour in Hindi. Eligibility Criteria for Candidates: The candidate must be between 18 and 25 years old.
