Vishnu Sahasranamam Stotram Lyrics 1000 Names

Vishnu Sahasranama Stotra (or Venkateshwara Sahasra Namam Stothram) is a devotional Vedic Hymns that explains in detail the 1000 names of Lord Vishnu. It is one of the most important pieces of Hindu mythology. Vishnusahasranama Stotra can be found in the 149th Chapter Anushasanika Paravam of The Great Epic Mahabharatha. Bhishma Pitamaha, a famous warrior, teaches Vishnu Sahasranama Sloka to Yudishtra. He is the eldest Pancha Pandavas.

Another version of Vishnu Sahasranama Stotra can be found in the Padma Purana. It is one of the eighteen major Puranas. The most popular version is however the Vishnu Sahasranamamam found within the Mahabharatha.

The Power of Vishnu Sahasranamamam

See also  Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana Online Form PDF Download

Sahasranama is a name that means 1000 names. The nameless is composed of 1000 names. Because Lord has infinite names, the number 1000 is only symbolic. The symbol of many or myriad is the number thousand. Meditation on the cosmic form Lord Vishnu is necessary before you can begin the Vishnu Sahasranama. One can reach his/her goals by chanting or listening to the Lord’s 1000 names. This will bring about health, happiness, and prosperity in your life.

Lord Vishnu, also known as “Visveswara”, is the one who rules over all the cosmos and is the supreme. According to the Bhagvadgita, Lord Krishna states, “I am both the beginning and the end.” When we begin to see that all that is good in the world contains some element of divinity, we can start moving towards salvation and attain moksha. It is also a way to honor Lord Krishna by chanting “Om”. Lord says

“Anything that’s glorious, brilliant, or powerful is a manifestation my effulgence.”

God is great. He is endowed in the richest virtues, knowledge, and compassion. We can experience a form of freedom by worshipping God. When the river merges into the sea, it loses its identity and becomes part of the sea. The same thing happens to us when we become one in God and the Almighty. We then attain the supreme self free from all the bonds of death and life. When we think of the divine forms, and utter the holy name of the Lord, the senses-folk get elevated to a higher level. We begin the journey to spirituality that will help us become a better person.

3. Mental worship

4. I am He

Even if you don’t understand the meaning, you still gain tremendous benefits. The chanting of this praiseworthy name, whether unknowingly or knowingly will burn away sin. It is like fire reducing fuel to ashes. Puranas state that Hari is a powerful name to cleanse sin. Nama japa is possible at any moment. The supreme truth is the divine name. Do not disrespect the teacher or the guru.

The Gita says that the Lord praises me constantly and strives to reach me with firm resolve. He also offers obeisance to others.

Prayers to God are not necessary to ask for anything, as God knows exactly what you need. Serving the Lord without ulterior motives is the best form of worship. Only a pure mind and a disciplined concentration can bring forth knowledge. Only dedicated service can cleanse the mind. God must be praised for the fruits and actions we take. Devotion links the path to knowledge and the path to action. True knowledge is the result of grace from God.

Vishnu Purana teaches meditation in krta, ritual worship in dvapara and sacrificial rites performed in treat-yuga.

Bheeshma claims that chanting Vishnu sahasranama, or even just listening to it, removes sins and fears. It makes you fearless. It is beneficial to all. Praise the all-pervading Lord to get beyond your sorrow. You will be able to give thanks to the Lord for little things. Pray to the Lord, meditate on him, and pay respects to him

Serving the Lord with your mind, body and speech is a great way to serve him. Lord Vishnu is closely linked to Lotus flower. He has Lotus eyes and Lotus feet. Lotus (Padma), resides within his heart. The Vishnu Sahasranama says it is wrong to distinguish Shiva from Vishnu. Both are equal. Shiva is the destroyer, Brahma the creator, and Vishnu the protector. Lord is known as Padmanabha because he holds goddess Padma Lakshmi within his heart. He is Anantha, which means happiness. The Lord is the embodiment happiness. It is said that “Sarvam Vishnu mightam jagath”
