Method 3 – Mobile App to check balance of post office accounts

  1. Get the IPPB mobile banking application for your phone

  2. Open the app and enter your account number (CIF number), date of birth, and mobile number in order to register on the app.
  3. To verify your identity, you will receive an OTP on your mobile phone.
  4. After successful registration, set the MPIN to log in to the app.
  5. The dashboard now shows the account balance.

Method 4: Get your bank account balance via phone banking

  1. Call 155299 to your registered mobile number and follow the IVRS instructions.
  2. Select the language that you wish to hear, then choose your account details.
  3. Select Get account balance to hear your balance.

India’s toll-free number is 155299.

Method 5 – Use a Post office OR card for checking your account balance

  1. Scanning the QR code on the QR card provided by Post Office Bank.
  2. You will now receive an OTP on your registered phone number. Enter this OTP.
  3. Enter the OVD verification code.
  4. The account balance will be displayed on your phone.

Method 6: Use UPI App for checking account balance.

This method requires an ATM card.
