It featured stripped-down versions of songs from Be (“Dynamite,” Telepathy,” Blue & Grey,” and Life Goes On”), as well as a faithful rendition Coldplay’s “Fix You.” A few months later, the group returned to MTV Unplugged with “Film Out,” a Jungkook-penned song, from their Japanese-language compilation BTS: The Best. The boys had a new English-language single ready for summer. The track was released in May and broke the streaming premiere record, amassing more than 20 million views an hour. It went on to become the fourth Billboard Hot 100 chart-topper for the group. The track remained at number one for several weeks after being released in various remixes, including “Hotter,” “Sweeter,” and “Cooler” versions. It was eventually released as a multiformat single and paired with “Permission To Dance”, a Ed Sheeran-penned track.
