FacebookĀ emojis appear for users of the FacebookĀ website, Facebook Android app, Messenger for web, and Messenger for Android. Facebook apps forĀ iOSĀ use native emojis for their respective platformĀ instead of Facebook’s own emoji images.
Support for Emoji 14.0 is now available for a select global Facebook users, and will be rolling out to more users throughout 2022.

Facebook provides animated āemojiāĀ reactions to posts.Ā ReactionsĀ doĀ not correspond to specific emojis in the Unicode standard, but approximate these characters:

New Reactions for COVID-19Ā
In March 2020, Facebook added aĀ CareĀ emoji reaction as an additional option in response to COVID-19. This is displayed similarly toĀ a hugging face holding a red love heart.
This Care emojiĀ is not available as a standardized Unicode emoji, and can only be used in reactions to Facebook posts.

Facebook has an emoticon implementation which uses Facebook-specific codes to show a color emoticon, as well as an extensible sticker collection.
